Application for erection of nine dwellings and associated roads and car parking, following demolition of existing property (outline – access, layout and siting).

Notwithstanding the officer’s recommendation that the application be approved, it was moved by Councillor Wright that permission be refused. In the absence of a seconder, the motion fell.

It was suggested that a condition be added to retain or replace the hedgerow on the frontage.

It was moved by Councillor Sutton, seconded by Councillor Surtees and

RESOLVED – permission be granted subject to the conditions contained in the officer’s report and late items and the abovementioned additional condition in relation to retention of the hedgerow.
