The Finance, Audit and Performance Committee
is part of the Overview & Scrutiny
function but also has a separate Audit role (which is a function of
Council).
The Finance, Audit and Performance Committee
reviews audit reports, considers governance issues and looks at
frontline performance of the authority, amongst other overview
& scrutiny functions.
This Committee has been in existence since May
2011, when it took over from the two separate select committees
– Council Services Select Committee and Finance & Audit
Services Select Committee.
