Application for partial demolition of, and extensions & alterations to, an existing dwelling and erection of two new dwellings, alterations to access and erection of a new boundary wall, 20 Rookery Lane, Groby (applicant: Executors & Trustees of Cynthia Fogerty Deceased).

Whilst in general support of the application, which had been deferred at a previous meeting, members asked if signs could be erected to encourage drivers to slow down. In response it was explained that this could not be included as a condition but that officers would discuss with the County Council.

It was moved by Councillor Hollick, seconded by Councillor O’Shea and

RESOLVED –

(a)          Permission be granted subject to the conditions contained in the officer’s report;

(b)        Officers be requested to discuss installation of signage with Leicestershire County Council.
