A report on the review of the statement of principles as required under the Gambling Act 2005 was presented to Council. Officers were thanked for their work. It was moved by Councillor Cartwright, seconded by Councillor Glenville and
RESOLVED – The statement of gambling principles be re-adopted.

Consideration was given to the statement of gambling principles. It was noted that the number of gambling premises had almost halved since 2007 with the introduction of online gambling which was monitored by the Gambling Commission nationally. It was moved by Councillor Cartwright, seconded by Councillor Allen and
RESOLVED – the statement of principles be RECOMMENDED to Council for adoption.
