Concern was expressed that the roads should be built to adoptable standard on the site and officers agreed to raise this with the developer. It was also requested that a note be made that the open space should be offered to the parish council rather than residents having to pay a management company.
It was moved by Councillor Bray, seconded by Councillor Allen and
RESOLVED –
(i) Permission be granted subject to the conditions contained in the officer’s report;
(ii) Determination of the detail of final conditions be delegated to the Head of Planning.

Members expressed concern about the lack of affordable housing and the below-standard garden sizes. It was moved by Councillor Bray and seconded by Councillor S Gibbens that the application be deferred for further discussion with the applicant on the concerns raised. Upon being put to the vote, the motion was CARRIED and it was
RESOLVED – the application be deferred for further discussion with the applicant.
