An objector spoke on this application.

Notwithstanding the officer’s recommendation that permission be granted, members expressed concern about the lack of safe pedestrian access, the need to retain the security system for existing residents, insufficient parking spaces, additional traffic movements exacerbating congestion on an already busy access road, and the marina facilities agreed as part of a previous application. It was moved by Councillor Lynch and seconded by Councillor Gibbens that the application be deferred for further detail on these matters. Upon being put to the vote, the motion was CARRIED and it was

RESOLVED – the application be deferred.

Having declared an interest in the following item, Councillor Webber-Jones left the meeting at 7.06pm.
