As part of the arrangement to
form a joint community safety partnership between Blaby and
Hinckley & Bosworth Districts, a joint overview & scrutiny
body must be in place.
The Joint Community Safety
Overview & Scrutiny Committee for the Blaby and Hinckley &
Bosworth Community Safety Partnership has been approved and the
first meeting will take place on 17 January 2016 at Hinckley &
Bosworth Borough Council. The committee will consist of the full
Scrutiny Commissions of the two councils. The venue will alternate
between Blaby District Council and Hinckley & Bosworth Borough
Council offices and the chair will also alternate – each
meeting will be chaired by the Scrutiny Commission chairman of the
host authority.
