Proposed changes to council tax premium charges on empty, unoccupied and unfurnished homes, those undergoing major repairs and second homes, were presented. It was moved by Councillor Lynch, seconded by Councillor Bray and
RESOLVED – the following increased premium charges be approved:
(i) No discount for empty, unoccupied and unfurnished properties;
(ii) No discount for homes undergoing major repairs;
(iii) 100% premium applied from day one on second homes.
Councillor Allen returned to the meeting.
