Councillor Taylor wished it to be noted that she had abstained from voting due to having arrived partway through the debate on the item.

Notwithstanding the officer’s recommendation that the application be approved, it was moved by Councillor Wright that permission be refused. In the absence of a seconder, the motion fell.

 

It was suggested that a condition be added to retain or replace the hedgerow on the frontage.

 

It was moved by Councillor Sutton, seconded by Councillor Surtees and

 

RESOLVED – permission be granted subject to the conditions contained in the officer’s report and late items and the abovementioned additional condition in relation to retention of the hedgerow.
